Someone looking for a dentist, a shop or a travel agency now has two ways to find one. They type into Google or open Maps, or they ask an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity something like "which dental clinic near me is open now?". Either way, the answer comes from the same place: what the internet says about your business, starting with your website.
Search engines and assistants read your site much as a customer does, but they look for particular things. When they find them stated clearly, they can point people to you. When they can't, they point people somewhere else.
What your site needs
- Every service named and described. People search for "braces" or "a Hurghada trip", not for your business's name. The more clearly each service is written up, with its name and details, the easier it is for Google and assistants to tell that you offer it.
- Both languages, if your customers use both. If some of your customers search in English, they need a real English version at its own address, not two translated lines at the bottom of an Arabic page.
- Fast pages on phones. Most people search on their phone, and a page that is slow to load gets closed before it opens.
- The same correct details everywhere. Your name, phone number, address and opening hours should match on your site, on Google Maps and on your social media pages. Any mismatch confuses search engines and assistants, and it confuses customers first.
- Structured data. Lines in the page that visitors never see, but that tell search engines and assistants plainly: this is the business's name, its type, its address, its hours and its number.
- An llms.txt file. A plain text file with your site's words and none of the design, so an assistant can find the facts straight away. It is a new convention and not every assistant uses it yet, but it does no harm, and the ones that ignore it simply read your pages.
What site4u does for every site from day one
None of this is an add-on you pay extra for. It comes with every site we build, on every plan:
- A title and description for every page, the words people see in a search result.
- A sitemap listing all your pages. If your site is in two languages, it tells Google that the Arabic and English pages are two versions of the same page, so it doesn't treat them as duplicates.
- Your business details in the form search engines and assistants read: your name and type of business, phone and email, address, opening hours, logo, social media accounts, and a link to your booking page if you take bookings online. We never add ratings or stars nobody gave you; Google treats that as a violation.
- An llms.txt file for your site, built automatically from your published pages and updated when they change.
- Access for AI assistants. We let tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity read your site, so it can be one of the sources they answer from.
- A design made for phones, on fast hosting with an SSL certificate.
If you're on the System or System Plus plan and your business runs trips, courses or events, or lists property or cars, each one gets its own page with its details, and goes into your sitemap and your llms.txt file. So when someone asks an assistant "when is the next trip?", the dates are on your site in a form it can read.
Your dashboard also shows how many people visited your site and where they came from: Google, Facebook, Instagram and so on.
To be straight with you: nobody can promise you a particular position on Google, or that a given assistant will recommend you, and we won't either. What we can do is make sure your site is ready, clear and easy to understand, which is where showing up starts.
Your part
- Keep your details the same everywhere. If your hours or number change, update them on your site, on Google Maps and on your social pages. If your plan lets you edit yourself, you do it from your phone; if not, ask from your dashboard.
- Tell us what customers ask you. The question you keep answering on WhatsApp belongs on your site, because it is the same question people type into Google and put to assistants.
- Ask happy customers to review you on Google Maps. Real reviews there make a difference to people who are still choosing.
- Use real photos of your place and your work. Send them to us, or upload them yourself if your plan includes it. A real photo reassures people more than any stock image.
